This Project Begin with a Meeting on August 27, 2004 of about 20 individuals in  Fairview. School principals, pastors, YMCA staff and others that care about our community. The group agreed on the need in our community for a central source of information for and about our community. Especially information about churches, schools, organizations providing assistance and support when a family needs a hand up, clubs, recreation and entertainment opportunities and every other aspect of our community that makes Fairview a great place to live. We are looking for Stake Holders in the Fairview Community, people who have an interest and care about what happens here, people that have something at stake here. Wanted Fairview Organizations and Stake Holders We are looking for business people, governments, churches, schools, community associations and clubs, recreation associations - We are looking for representatives from every part of our community to participate and help build this community resource for the benefit of everyone in Fairview. Our Objectives

• Provide a single Central Source of Information for and about the Community. Not controlled or influenced by a single local group or organization., including publicly accessible as well as secured information.
• Communication Resource - Provide a central method of communicating community information in a timely fashion to the community. Including Planned and Scheduled events, newsletters, weekly word publications, near real-time death announcements and opt-in birthday announcements
• Public Relations and Promotion Resource - Provide a modern delivery platform and a coordinated effort to promote the local community, our quality of life aspects, and the activities of our organizations to promote and support a positive public presence.
• Facilitate communications, the sharing of knowledge and information, and awareness among the various groups and organizations in our community.
